CORNER FORUM ACKNOWLEDGMENTS: The following people helped produce or distribute the May 18 issue of the Corner Forum: Marc Borbely, 536 13th St. NE (editing, folding, distributing) and Sharon Cochran, 1300 block of Emerald Street NE (distributing). The following people helped produce or distribute the May 11 issue of the Corner Forum: Susan Borbay, New York City (proofreading, folding); Marc Borbely, 536 13th St. NE (editing, folding, distributing); Tammi Cioffi, 536 13th St. NE (folding, distributing); and Sharon Cochran, 1300 block of Emerald Street NE (distributing). There are 71 households in the Corner Forum area that have subscribed to the newsletter (25 on E Street, 24 on Emerald Street, 15 on 13th Street, and 7 on Duncan Place).

EXCELLO PROTESTS: People who signed protest letters against Excello's license renewal must either appear in person at the 10 a.m. Roll Call Hearing on Wednesday, June 4, at 941 North Capitol St. NE, or they may write and sign a one-sentence note designating someone else as their representative, Lynda Bird, chief adjudicator for the Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration, said last week. CORNER FORUM MEETING CANCELED: This coming weekend's Corner Forum meeting has been canceled. Generally, meetings are held Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. and neighbors are urged to come help assemble the current issue and plan future ones.

NEXT DATE OF PUBLICATION: The next issue of the Corner Forum will again be published after the weekend — most likely on Wednesday, June 4.

NEW ANC COMMITTEE MEMBER: Gordon Keller, 1300 E St. NE, was introduced on May 14 by the ANC 6A Alcoholic Beverage Licensing and Public Safety Committee as one of its newest members.

HOUSES FOR SALE: If you have met one of the area's new residents or know someone about to move out, please ask them if they'd like to introduce themselves or say goodbye. According to the Long & Foster Web site, http://www.longandfoster.com, viewed today, the real estate listings for the Corner Forum area have changed from two weeks ago as follows: 1239 Duncan Pl.
