Track replacement between Union Station and Fort Totten will require closing that stretch of the Red Line from 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14. During this time there will be no rail service to the Brookland-CUA and Rhode Island Avenue stations. However, Metro will run free shuttle buses between Fort Totten and Union Station with stops at the closed stations. Customers are advised to detour the closed track by riding the Green Line.
