COMINGS AND GOINGS: If you have met one of the area's new residents or know someone about to move out, please ask them if they'd like to introduce themselves or say goodbye. According to the Long & Foster Web site, http://www.longandfoster.com, viewed yesterday, one house is for sale in the Corner Forum area: 1340 Emerald St. NE ($369,950).

BUILDING PERMIT SOUGHT FOR ATLAS RENOVATIONS: According to Thursday's Washington Post, the Atlas Performing Arts Center (1313-33 H St. NE) has filed a building permit for renovations. The proposed work is described as follows: "renovation of a 53,000-square-foot complex to house two state-of-the-art professional theaters, two lab theaters, three dance studios, costume and production shops and offices. It will become the first permanent home for the African Continuum Theatre Company and the first urban site for the Joy of Motion dance school. Cost: $2,037,000."
