Summer Jobs Available for Youth

If you are 14 to 21, you may register for the 2004 Passport-to-Work Summer Youth Employment Program.

Employment is for five weeks, from July 12 through August 8.

Pay ranges from $5.15 to $12 per hour. Some jobs will be with government agencies and others with private businesses.

You must register by April 30, at the Office of Youth Programs, 625 H St. NE, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on any other weekday.

To register, you must bring documentation to verify your date of birth, citizenship or alien status, selective service status (for males 18-21), social security number, District residency and family income. For more information, call 698-3991. §
