Tax Preparation Sites

Low-income residents of D.C. often use paid tax preparers to complete their returns. Fees for this service can add up to several hundred dollars even for simple returns. The D.C. EITC Campaign is committed to helping D.C. residents keep all of their tax refunds by linking families and individuals with free tax preparers.

Each year during tax season, a number of sites throughout the District offer free tax preparation assistance to low- and moderate-income residents. For questions: 408-1080 or

• DC Developing Families Center, 801 17th St. NE Jan 28-April 15; Wednesdays & Thursdays 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. on the following dates: 1/31; 2/7; 2/21; 3/13; 3/27; 4/3; and 4/10.
