Skating Tutor Found!

We asked Ms. Baxley whether she received any responses to her request for a skating teacher, which appeared in the last issue of the Corner Forum.

Yes, I did get one response from a neighbor on Emerald Street — Mr. Clark. He's been in-line skating for many years, and I didn't even know him.

He's had me skating up and down the alley behind my house. We started on the 19th, right after the article appeared in the Corner Forum.

He's an excellent teacher, and I expect to be able to skate around Lincoln Park within the next week or so (anyway, that's what my tutor says).

Putting my request in the Corner Forum was a great idea. Thanks for this outlet! §
